CASA COBRE MAKES YOUR FAVORITE SPIRIT EVEN BETTER
The roots of sangrita (which means "little blood" in Spanish) are hotly debated. One theory is it originated in Guadalajara, Jalisco in the 1920s as a resourceful way to use the leftover juice from pico de gallo.
Another story is that sangrita originated at a bar in the Lake Chapala area of Jalisco run by Doña Guadalupe Sánchez, where it was served as a savory snack along with her husband José’s house-made tequila.
Our sangrita is inspired by the popular Mexico City adaptation and is made with fresh tomato juice and only the highest quality ingredients. Designed to drink with even the finest tequilas or cervezas, it's your bar cart's newest staple.
